In 2015 Jared Alvarado started this company with his wife, his best friend and his best friend wife. All 4 together registered K&K Electric in August 6 2015 in Baltimore City. The first Project awarded for the company was One house (Under remodeling) for Cross Country Co. for a total of $6,000.
In 2016 K&K Electric awarded the first high rise building as a sub-contractor under a nationwide Electrical Contractor name Power Design who give Jared the Opportunity to supplement manpower for the project. Name of the project The Blairs Silver Spring MD. 383 Apt Units. With Clark Construction.
In 2017 K&K Electric get the first license in the state of Maryland as a Electrical Contractor. In 2017 K&K Electric opened the commercial division with the first Estimator (Roy Lee) K&K Did in 2017 $1,5875,000.00 in commercial work directly with General Contractor.
Until now 2020, K&K Electric, is one of the more power full medium size contractor in the area. Employed over 100+ electricians, and so far, K&K done over 120 projects, between commercial work, residential and buildings. The gross annual revenue of K&K at this moment is over $20M.
